Well... Not really. At 50USD a month any major design firm would actually profit off it more. At 600 a year for the entire suite... A hard core marketing firm would profit way more by doing that for say 5 work stations than to buy all the software.

Adobe is really not marketing the casual designer as much as medium sized companies. Any marketing firm would see a much better profit margin by going this way. More so when it comes to constant updates for free.

So... Unless you're a person who uses multiple Adobe products... You're not going to get the benefit that say a firm would.

I guess I meant for me or for at least most of us here then. Then again I had always found Adobe products to be too expensive, but maybe that's because I'm only 16 and hardly have ever held anymore than £300. Ah well, I still don't see myself using CC until maybe when I reach uni and they have a special student discount package like they do for limited time right now. (£about20pm for Photoshop, Illustrator and some other apps if you are studying in uni)

Ever since they bought out Macromedia they killed all competition they might have and their prices skyrocketed.

To be honest, even companies think they're expensive. I use to work for a company where I had to use Adobe Audition throughout the day. We thought it was crazy expensive... More so when you had to have it on multiple work stations. Adobe has no competition that can match it so they charge what they want.

What's the difference between cs6 and cc? I don't see much difference.

Almost nothing. Just camera raw is now a filter. CC is more for photographers

So all they did was just make some visual changes and push out a new product? *deskpalm*

Indeed you do. Generally the first part is like a probation period. There are some limitations and you don't get 'full recognition'.

Are there any other ranks? It would be pretty cool if there is.

i am guessing they are not planning too much yet because they most probably want to see how the site holds up and fix as many bugs as they can before making big changes

Indeed. It's not too terribly a high priority. We're trying and grow the community a bit more before expanding it with too many things. We're hoping that yall can assist us in getting more users.

Of course not. We in no way want to spam other forums. Telling friends and posting the link in various safe areas (like youtube) will help us tremendously.

We create free communities. These communities grow by our members sharing the word. BakaRenders.com become one of our most popular sites with virtually no advertising by us. We did some basic marketing at the start by sharing free resources then BR went BLAM and grew. We're hoping that people sharing the site and sharing content will create a wonderful community for everyone.
